Social Commerce | MCN Collaboration | Risk Management
Agni Advisory Group structured and supported a Korean social-commerce project in which international consumer offerings were introduced through influencers in collaboration with a domestic MCN partner. The mandate combined commercial execution with the legal and compliance framework required between overseas principals, the MCN, participating sellers and Korean consumers.
The challenge
Influencer-led sales can reach the market quickly, but speed creates risk when content approvals, sales responsibilities, consumer claims and data handling are not allocated clearly. For an international partner, these issues are amplified by distance, language and unfamiliar local practices.
Integrated support
- Structured the operating relationship between the overseas partner and Korean MCN
- Supported influencer and seller participation terms
- Established content approval, pricing and promotional controls
- Reviewed advertising disclosures and consumer-protection requirements
- Allocated fulfillment, returns, customer-service and data responsibilities
- Managed contractual, compliance and reputational risk throughout execution
Outcome
The project created a coordinated route to Korean social-commerce channels while maintaining clearer accountability across all participants. The international partner was able to test demand and build local visibility without treating legal and compliance matters as after-the-fact corrections.
